Purpose & Mission

St. John Lutheran Church offers a quality Christian-based after school program as a service for our working parents and community members. Students do not need to attend St. John Lutheran School in order to participate in the After School Program.

Our program provides safe, creative, and nurturing care for children. The children have individual and group experiences that emphasize key areas of development in children. The goals of our program are:

  • To provide a creative, loving outlet for children
  • To support students with academic resources
  • To build a community where supportive relationships develop

Program Structure

The After School Program is structured so that parents and students alike benefit from:

  1. Structured Activities such as art, science, music, technology, performing, service projects, and visual arts, etc
  2. Academic Support through learning activities and tutoring (as arranged through the Program Coordinator) according to each child's individual needs
  3. Time to play and interact with others and release natural God-given energy

Special interest clubs will be available. Please see the monthly calendar for further details about these special opportunities!
